Today was are welcoming a new sponsor and I'm pretty sure you're going to LOVE it. I know a lot of you have boys and I think you'll adore the Little Gentleman's Closet on etsy. They carry ties and bowties for children, toddlers, and infants as well as PDF patterns for ties.
The Little Gentleman's Closet is owned by Michelle, who let us review a couple of ties. We picked THIS ONE and THIS ONE. They came with these cute tags and I set them on my kitchen counter so I could admire them. Everyone who came over this week admired them too.
So, let me give you the low-down on what I really like about the ties. First of all, they are adjustable. That is fabulous. You don't have to tie them on and they aren't those annoying clips that dig at your boy's neck. They wrap around the collar and click together. Perfect.
The other thing I love is the fabrics she uses. It's really hard to find cute ties that aren't clip ons. I fell in love with this bike pattern. Can you tell Rex likes it too?
I also noticed that the ties look extremely professional. The sewing and construction is fantastic. I have purchased ties from stores that say they are machine washable and they get destroyed in the wash. Not cool. These ties can be washed on the gentle cycle (or I like to spot clean mine as much as possible.) In case the tie comes undone, Michelle provides a link to a video on how to re-tie it. Nice.
Lastly, I love how they make a bold statement. The cotton fabric can easily be dressed up or down in my opinion. I can see them with jeans and a striped collared shirt, or with a full suit. They are adorable. I can't wait to take Baden to church in this little number :)
So, if you need a cute little outfit for Easter now is a great time to head over and check out the Little Gentleman's Closet.
A Couple of Tips: If you are debating on the sizing, I would pick the bigger size. Both of ours are the 3T-6yrs size and they look right on my boys who are almost 2 and 3. Also, there is currently a sale on any tie with green on it for St. Patrick's Day.
Thanks for stopping by.
