Have you seen those glittery heels that are popular right now? Very glamorous, but not something I'd get to wear a whole lot. I pinned THESE shoes the other day because I thought they were adorable. So, I decided to marry the two and make some glitter-toed sparkley flats for myself. They are casual enough for jeans and dressy enough for a dress. They were fast and easy to make, too.
I bought some inexpensive black flats from Target.
I taped off the area I wanted to add glitter to. I used painter's tape.
I spread over the Tulip Glitter Bond and then sprinkled on my Tulip Fashion Glitter.
I peeled off the tape and voila! They were done.
I think it would be fun to make some bolder ones for a little girl - like purple with bright kelly green toes or something kind of wild.
That's all for today. Tomorrow's Wake Up Wednesday. See you then. Thanks for dropping in.

Now I am pinning yours! :)
I have the same flat..they've been sitting in my closet for almost a year now. I'm not typically a glitter kind of gal, but I love these! Does that glitter bond keep you from leaving glitter everywhere?
very cute!

So cute! I think it would be fun to cut the tape w/ a scalloped edge to add a little "whimsy" to it. Great idea and thanks for sharing :)

What a great idea. I am wondering if you used anything to seal the glitter to make them a little more durable? Just wondering...
That is just clever! I can't wait to run to the store and snag me up some plain shoes and glamorize them!

Freaking love this Idea. Thank you!!!!
These rock! Oh I wish we had a Target nearby so I could get those flats. I love how simple and lovely they are.
Oh I must craft these up right away! Last night I had a dream that I was zipping around town in silver glitter roller skates! It's a sign!!
Zena - I expect to loose a little glitter the first time I wear them, but I think once the extra has been shaken off fromt he first wear that they will be fine. I'll keep you all posted.
So cute! I am wondering now that it's been a week or so, how are they holding up? Thanks!
