Soapbox Saturday - Snap, wallpaper, and Costco

Alright.  Today's soapbox is about a whole lot of random things.  Here we go.

1) In a couple of weeks I'll be attending my first blog conference - Snap.  I get to speak on a panel with some awesome other ladies and I'm really thrilled to attend.

Are any of you readers going?  Will you leave me a comment here if you are?  I'd love to meet you!

AND, if you're not coming I'll try to do a fun recap and take notes so you can feel like you were there too.  (I always felt a little bummed reading about all the fun conferences that I had never attended.)

2) Want the prettiest desktop wallpaper with a calendar?  Click HERE to get this from Virginia and Charlie - a super cute blog with beautiful pictures.  I just put it on my computer and I smile every time I see it.  She offers different pictures an has them without the calendar as well as regular screen size or wide.  Yeah, she thought of it all.

3) I think I find almost as much good stuff at Costco as I do on Pinterest.  My favorites are the uncooked tortillas, Dave's Killer Bread, the alfredo sauce in the fridge section, the Hurley 3-piece clothing sets for my boys, the memory foam bath mats, and the taste testers :)  I'm not being paid by Costco to endorse their store, but I wish I could.  I'd take a free membership for life....please?  What's your favorite thing there?

Okay.  That's all I've got got now.  I hope you're having a wonderful Easter weekend.  See you tomorrow.  Thanks for dropping in.

Costco is so wonderful. I don't have a membership yet, but I tag along with family when I can. The newest thing I like is a Multigrain Tortilla Chip by Food Should Taste Good. It can be a chip or a cracker, and doesn't taste nasty like most chips with sesame seeds, flax seeds, etc. do.

Yep, LOVE Costco. I love that I can strap both of my little ones into a cart at the same time. Gotta love a fun store, where your children can be contained and even eat samples!

We love the salsa, Kirkland tortilla chips, batteries, and the tasting tables. My kids ask to go to Costco just to check out what samples they can get.

Hi Cheri, thanks for linking to me again! I'm glad you like the wallpaper! The one you chose is my favorite as well and is on my desktop right now too. Hurray for spring and beautiful blooms! -Virginia

A. I was super excited to see you on the speaker list at SNAP! Can't wait to see you there!

B. Gorgeous desktop images! I'm on my way to check them out!

C. I'm *obsessed* with COstco. The Husband and I went there last night as part of our date night just because we wanted to!

Costco is the only store I don't mind taking my two little kids to by myself. They both fit and they are entertained by the samples and the book aisle. We love the salsas and the hummus. Also, the chocolate-covered pomegranate. Other staples include pretzels (we call it our puppy chow), fiber one bars, yogurt, string cheese, and bananas (I used to wonder how anyone could get through a whole bag before they went bad - now we get at least 2, sometimes 3, bags every time we go!).

Luv their chocolate chocolate chip super huge muffins. {They are so not good for your health!}And they seem to be the cheapest for milk on the island. In some locations milk can go for over $7 a gallon here. CRAZY!

Saturday, just afternoon at Costco! It's like lunch for free! Haha... I love the 3 packs of organic pasta sauce... but I forget the brand, whoops!

My husband is addicted to the mocha lattes (with the chocolate syrup). He's like a child when it comes to those things.

I hope that you have a fab time at Snap! Darcy worked at Costco for 12 years! He has lots of great stories, including the one about the guy who returned a canoe after the summer because "he didn't have anywhere to store it". lol. We love the chibatta "triangle" buns, the sleepers when the boys were little, the AA batteries and the Kirkland baby wipes are a must have!! Happy Easter!! xo

My mum and I both bought memory foam bath mats at our last trip to Cost Co (in Australia). I use mine in my kitchen by the sink so standing up washing dishes and waiting for pasta to boil is a delight now. I'm thinking of getting a second one to put under my desk. Even my cat loves it; I've caught her sleeping on it a few times now! I call it my cat mattress.

I love costco's cheese and chips for the prices! And I love looking at their baby/kid clothes too. Fantastic! :) That wallpaper is super pretty, I've been bored with mine for a long time, so thanks for sharing where to find a good one! :)

I too love the uncooked Tortillas! Doesn't get better than only 5 ingredients on the product. We also buy the majority of our fruit at costco (avocado prices are the best and a good product as well). I also buy our coffee beans at costco.

I'll be at Snap! It's my first conference too, and since you were one of my bloggy inspirations, I'll definitely try to track you down :-) Oh, wait, that sounded stalky....

My husband is actually one of the vendors for the Queen Bee Market going on during the conference. :) I will be there but behind the scenes. It would be fun to bump into you though. :)

I LOVE Costco! I tried the Brookside Dark Chocolate Açai with Blueberry (http://www.brooksidefoods.com/usa/products/dark-chocolate-acai-blueberry.php) this week and they are sooooo good. I may have to hide them from myself. :-)
