Sunshine Sunday - anniversary, face smooshing, and projects

My husband and I celebrated our 8th anniversary this week.  We actually got a babysitter and went out for a really nice dinner.  It was awesome.

I feel really lucky to have a husband like I do.  Last week I was watching him plow our driveway after the snow came down and then he headed over and did the neighbor's driveway because they were out of town.  And I thought to myself as I watched him out the window, "I really got a good one."  He continues to impress me even after eight years.

This little nugget is such a momma's boy.  I love smooshing my face against his baby soft skin.  I would love to freeze him at three.  He's so good to me.

We hit the free kid's workshop at the Depot yesterday and the boys loved it.

There was even a little extra apron-wearing later in the day.

I've been feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the things I want to get done before the baby comes.  There's just a little over three months left on the countdown.  I have been so exhausted that I just can't do what I normally can, which gets me frustrated.  However, if I look back at how I felt for the first four months of the pregnancy that reminds me that this is definitely a whole lot better.  And the projects and to do list can wait.  I just have to keep reminding myself of that :)  And just knowing there is a project makes me happy sometimes.

I hope you had a great week.  What's on your to do list?  Thanks for reading.

Happy Anniversary!!
With both my pregnancies I got a burst of energy in the last couple months and managed to get mostly everything done. Although, it was a lot harder with the second, because I was chasing around my first born. Can't imagine with two cuties running around. :o)

How fun that you got some alone time for your anniversary! The projects will get done eventually! Don't stress it too much.

Oh I feel the exhaustion and the want to get things done... I'm due in 6 weeks and I had so many plans for finishing projects but each day just slips away but I'm so tired I don't realize it until the week is already passed. Sigh, I'm super excited for you!!!! You can do it all, just step at a time :D

I always seem to get that overwhelmed feeling around that time of pregnancy. I've had 3 so far, and it seems to be a pattern. What a blessing to have soft faces to smoosh into.

Right now, there is way too much on my to do list and way too much swimming in my mind. I've hit a state of overwhelmed paralysis. I hope you manage to do the most important things on your to do list and enjoy your family instead of doing the less important things on your list. That's my wish for you-- and more soft face smooshing. I think that must be good for one's health.

Happy Anniversary! I am not even pregnant and can't seem to find the energy needed to finish or start so many projects at home. I think its winter and all the viruses we've had! Looking forward to Spring!

Happy Anniversary Cheri and Mr Roar!

I believe little boys who get showered with love grow to be beautiful men, so keep smooching and squishing those cheeks!!

Take it easy for the next three months.
