Sunshine Sunday - tour guides, a new project, and the final countdown

When I look at this picture it makes me feel so happy.  We live in such a beautiful place and seeing my boys play and enjoy childhood is awesome.  I've said it a few times before, but I love to think of my job as a mother being much like that of a tour guide.  This is your world, boys.  It's amazing.

It's been a fun week.  I was crazy enough to start one more big project before Elsa comes.  My parents are my enablers :)  We've started Baden's room.  I'll probably give you a quick sneak peak before I break for the summer this week.

Even though it won't be his room, this guy has been SO excited about it.  He was grandpa's helper yesterday.

I told you I was crazy, but the room is going to be so fun.

On a different note, Baden's been dressing himself lately.  He's randomly taken a liking to these old snow boots of Rex's.  He prefers them over flip flops.  I'm hoping he'll be over them soon since the weather is really warm.  His pants and shirt combos have been pretty funny lately, too (though you can't see it here).  That's what I get for giving him his own clothing bins he can reach :)  The kid has lots of opinions and he's quite possibly more stubborn than I am.  Yikes.

And Rex has been working on his climbing skills.  He wants to learn how to skateboard and do a flip on the trampoline this summer.  I love his adventurous spirit.

And we're now down to 10 days until Elsa comes!  It's the final countdown!  I'm excited about the changes to come and this new phase we're entering.

Thanks for stopping by.

I can't wait to meet your little girl 10 days oh she'll be here before you know it. I have a 3 year old just like Baden she went out one day wearing a swim suit, tracksuit pants and two different shoes and this was in the middle of summer. I tried to change her mind but wouldn't you know it she did what she wanted to do.

The people at kindy thought she looked cute but I think they were been polite :) Oh well I'm sure I'll have even more fun when she gets to be a teenager......

this is so exciting. New little girls and two boys entering into their new stages at the same time. I know a little girl that needed to express her own style as a little one and at her mid school graduation wore hightop tennis with her beautiful dress and always wears mismatched sox.

Girl! Get off the top of the closet. Did anyone tell you your having a baby in
I can't wait for you to have your beautiful Elsa in your arms. I find it funny that I was praying for to have a baby and a daughter and then to find out her name will be the same has my grand daughter is amazing.
Yesterday while getting ready for church Elsa said to her momma "Get dressed and be a statement." We just don't know where she comes up with some of the things she says. My Elsa will be 3 on the 4 of June.

Ten days! Holy moly. I cannot wait to meet your little girl. LOVE Baden's style. It's quite similar to Hayden's. It's rare that we get out of the house without Spiderman galoshes on!

I'll admit to a panicked double-take seeing you up so high, but it's cool. You obviously survived it. Best of luck and sending love to you for Elsa's pending arrival. So funny, that feeling of anticipation, then you look back and can't imagine what life was like without them.
