Jamberry Nails and a GIVEAWAY!!!

Last year when we did Hair Week I also did a post about fun products for nails.  Well, the other day when I posted that picture I had pinned with the toenails that looked like metal a couple of you mentioned Jamberry Nails.  I wanted to see what they were all about and now that I know I am thrilled to tell you guys about them.
So let me give you the low down.  Jamberry nails are "nail shields."  They are a fun way to accessorize your fingers or toes.   They give you a unique professional nail design that you can't really get with nail polish.  They are like stickers, but you also use heat source (a blow dryer) to make them really adhere.  They have over 60 styles to choose from!

It took me about 20 minutes to apply them, but you don't have to wait for them to dry like you do with nail polish, which is nice.  They last up to 2 weeks on fingers and up to 6 weeks on toes.

I went for the metallic ones and they are seriously cool.  I LOVE them.  (Please look at the rockin' nail shields and try to look past my ugly feet, okay?  I wasn't meant to be a foot model.)

They are $15 which initially sounds like a lot, but you can get 2-3 uses out of each pack.  (It's also a lot cheaper than a pedicure.)  They look like this in the package.  After using them on my toes and seeing what's left, I'm pretty sure I could get 3 uses out of each package.

In fact, here's what I would do.  I would order them with a group of friends and have each friend pick a pattern.  (It's like ordering Chinese food, right?)  You could put them on together and then exchange the leftovers so that you'd have a new pattern the next time.  That way you'd get different patterns and if you get 3 uses out of each package then it's $5 each time you use them.  Fun, huh?

If you get some I recommend watching the tutorial video from their site HERE.  It explains the process really well.
Now, one of you lucky readers is going to get your pick of one set of Jamberry Nail Shields.  Leave a comment to enter the giveaway.  (Only one comment per person please.)  The winner will be posted Thursday.

Thanks for stopping by.  Happy 4th!  I hope you're having a great day!
