Sunshine Sunday–It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

We had a great Thanksgiving day and the next day we headed out to get our tree.  Here’s my friendly, happy boys and I with our tree on the car.

Rex helped me decorate the tree.  I love how it looks with the lights on at night.  We just need to add our star.

The stockings are hung by the chimney with care.

I even got to snap some pictures of my little guys (in hats, of course).

I got a couple of really good ones that I’m turning into black and whites (and using the black Friday Canvas People deal on, which has been extended until Dec 3rd).  I’ll show you them later.

Tomorrow starts CHRISTmas here on the blog.  I’m glad you guys are excited about it, too!  See you tomorrow!

  4. Your tree is beautiful! I love the white and silver decorations. And the way you've clustered the glass balls. We'll probably put our tree up this week sometime.

  5. I'm definitely excited about CHRISTmas. My three year old 'gets' the santa thing this year and it's very important that she 'gets' the CHRIST part as well. She's pretty good for remembering that stuff though, in that funny way kids are... the first day of snow this year, I asked her what was outside and she said, "God put something on the ground!" I love it when kids say things like that.

    Feliz Navidad!!

  12. Thanks for highlighting the MOST important part about this time of year! The interesting thing about it is, that it is important to everyone, including agnostics, they just might not know it ;)
    I will keep checking back.

  13. I love the scowls on their faces while you pose by the tree on your car. Looks like my boys. Don't they know it takes more energy to scowl...silly boys. :) Seriously my two year old's standard face includes some kind of furrowed brow.
