For our mommy school this week we tried out some q-tip painting, using the PDF printables we found HERE at Therapy Fun Zone. It was fun and easy. We got out our washable paint and some q-tips and then printed off the picture.
It wasn't crazy-messy, which was a bonus.
It was good for both ages (3 and 5).
If you let your tongue hang out, you can concentrate much better, you know. I love it when he does that.
Ta-dah!
Thanks for stopping by.

Nice and great idea.
Love this! I teach K, and we use Q-tips for regular painting all the time (mostly bc I'm a little scared of the giant paint messes that could be made). I've never seen these Q-tip painting sheets before, though. Thanks for sharing!! :)
Ooooooooooh! Love this!
I just love this!
I will try with my kids!

Thanks for sharing this idea, both my boys enjoyed doing this, this afternoon.
In my family, we call that "holding your mouth right." :)
This is awesome!! I am totally doing this tomorrow!! Thank you! :)
That is such a great fine motor/coordination activity. I kinda want to try it myself, looks super fun! :)
This is cute! I love that your kids are so focused on it -- and the end result looks fantastic.
wow I would say that was very well done for a three year old!!!maybe it was the tongue that created all that great motor skill.
That is so cool! I need to print those - my son would love those!
Great fun! I think we'll do this tomorrow since we're on "Winter Break" here in Detroit.
I haven't seen these kinds of q-tip painting sheets. I do them but just use little jars of water with food colouring in it and then they can draw all over the paper. Gives it a lovely watercolour effect. I will have to try these too.
Thanks for sharing our project. I am so glad that it was such fun.

Isn't this form of painting called pointillism? What a fun way for kids to get in on the action too!
