R2D2 Toms Tutorial

The other on pinterest I ran across some R2D2 Toms and I thought they were so stinkin' cool.  I knew my boys would love them too, so I set out to make some.  I'm not sure who to credit with the original idea, because I found a few different people who had made some.

Here's how they turned out.  To get the full tutorial you can visit the I Love to Create blog HERE.

Okay, I promise the Star Wars crafts are coming to an end now.....at least for a while.  Rex is still just enthralled, though.

In other news, there's progress being made this week in the nursery and the bathroom and I'm thrilled about it!  Can't wait to show you.

Thanks for dropping in.

  5. I've got some Star Wars fans in my house, too! They love the R2D2 quilt I made last year... http://aquiltisahug.blogspot.com/2012/10/in-galaxy-far-far-away.html

I'll have to consider making some of these shoes as soon as their feet slow down growing a bit. At the rate they're going, they'd only be able to wear my handiwork for about a week before the shoes were too small.

  7. I saw on the iLovetocreate blog that someone said it would be expensive on new shoes.. but I am guessing this would work on any canvas shoe.. Im not going to try it on Tom's.. but I will splurge on the 3 dollar pair at Walmart :) I am loving the star wars stuff. Maybe a bit more??
