Favorite Projects of 2010

I thought it would be fun to do a year in review post like a lot of bloggers have done these last few days.  I picked my favorite post from each month to share with you.

FEBRUARY

February was the month I started my blog.  This was one of my first tutorials.  It was a Hurly-inspired (bleach pen) hoodie I made for a nephew.


MARCH

This is Gunny.  He strikes fear into all children.  Why?  Because he eats up toys that aren't put away.  It works like magic around our house. 


APRIL

I wanted to make some fun pillows for our family room.  These You and Me Pillows make me smile when I look at them.  They add a little personality to the room.


MAY

The Playroom was so much fun to complete.  I think the kid in me gets even more ridiculously excited than my kids do about stuff like this.


JUNE

The Photography Series part 1, part 2, part 3, and part 4 were really fun to put together as well.

JULY

I felt like we were having a slumber party during hair week!  Hair week featured tips on styling, hair-dos, and hair accessories.


AUGUST

I had to pick two things in August because I couldn't decide which one was my favorite.

Rex's Little Man Tea Party was a blast to do.


The Upcycled Boy Hats have been a favorite because I have loved seeing all of your fantastic versions of them.


SEPTEMBER

The Autumn Bloom Belt made the cut because I love autumn colors so much!


OCTOBER

Getting The Craft Room done felt really good.


NOVEMBER

The Upcycled T-shirt Dress makes me want to have a little girl.  I do have nieces, though, so I'll be okay even if I never get a girl myself.


DECEMBER

The Good Deed Advent made our Christmas really special.  Rex would wake up and ask about "his service" for the day.  One of my favorite moments was when his good deed was to give compliments to strangers.  This one was hard for him to do, but it melted me heart when he told a random, kind lady in a store that he loved her.  He was so cute about it.


I have had so much fun sharing my projects, ideas, and thoughts with all of you this year.  Thank you for being a part of my blog.  Happy New Year!

  7. I didn't realize this was your first year blogging. I am SO glad you are a blogger. I have really enjoyed your blog!

    Now, how did I miss those fabulous, helpful photo posts in June?!! Oh yes, I was having a baby in June. My mind was elsewhere. BUT I'm so glad you reposted about them. I'm definitely going to be going back to them again and again for help. I just got a new camera for Christmas. :)
