Welcome to our very first Wake Up Wednesday! If you don't know what I'm talking about, go back and read this post first.
For today's idea/challenge, I didn't want to make it too hard but at the same time I wanted it to stretch us a bit. So, here is a bit of both.
I know everyone's experience will vary a lot, but I think that will make it fun. So, get thinking and then get doing and next Wednesday we'll all share our experiences. Okay? I was really touched by the number of you that expressed excitement about this idea. THANK YOU!!! I am so happy about it!
Thanks for stopping by. See you tomorrow!

Okay, I'm game. Sounds like a fun challenge. I am looking forward to this new feature on your blog each week. This week I'll be making dinner for a woman who just had a baby. I don't know her very well but she goes to my church.
I'm so happy this morning because my gift has been delivered to someone that goes to our church. I placed it in her door when I knew she would be gone. I know she is going to be surprised and what I made her she is going to really enjoy..
Thanks for this idea~!~! I can hear you roar all the way to Iowa..
ta ta for now~!
Love the idea! Time to put my thinking cap on...what can I Make? I want it to be special :)
This is a great idea Cheri! I love the idea of tying 'doing good' into your blog. I've been thinking for awhile about how I would do something like that on my blog, and it looks like you've come up with a perfect idea. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with - this weeks idea has already inspired me! :)

I love wake up wednesday! Thank you so much for inspiring all of us to do more for others and for making it so much fun. I now look forward to Wednesday!
we make the yummy granola recipes from "Food to Live By" Earthbound Farm cookbook and give them to neighbors as part of our Xmas gifts. there's nothing like a delicious healthy snack of granola on Xmas morning!
What a wonderful idea! We delivered dinner to a family from church last night. They have 4 year old with pneumonia and 22 month old triplets with bronchitis. I made sure to involve our 3 year old in the meal preparation, and on the way to deliver the meal we talked a lot about "paying it forward". Thank you for encouraging us all to have a generous heart!

I have been reading your blog for 6mo, but first time commenting. I just think this is such a great way to remember weekly to keep my New Years resolutions of giving, going. Thank you, and I look forward to participating and reading what everyone else did for more ideas. Thanks!

What a great idea to kick off the New Year! I'm excited to bring some altruism into my life on a weekly basis. And maybe, just maybe, this will start a chain of paying it forward. Thanks for doing something different in the blogosphere and encouraging us all to get outside of our comfort zone a bit each week.
