Wake Up Wednesday

I wanted to take a minute to say thanks for your support of Wake Up Wednesdays.  I started them at the beginning of this year and while I felt it was something I really needed to do myself, I wasn't sure how you readers would react.  I was worried that a lot of you would be bummed that there was one less day of crafting.  However, you have cheered me on.  Many of you have participated and have had experiences that have brought me to tears.  So, thank you.  Thank you for joining in.  Thank you for sharing your experiences.  Thank you for your efforts and your encouragement.  I feel like I'm on a great team here.

This week's challenge is to do a little cleaning for someone else.  Now I know you might be thinking..."I'm the one who cleans our whole house.  I clean for someone else everyday."  Well, this is meant to be a job that's not usually yours.  It could be sweeping while you're at your sister's house.  Maybe the counter where condiments are at a fast food place needs a little help.  Maybe you could load a friends dishwasher.  You might have to get a little creative here.  I think there are a lot of different options of you think outside yourself.

That's it.  Thanks for reading.

  1. What a great idea! I know how much I would like it if someone surprised me with random cleaning. I will have to keep my eyes peeled!

  2. That's a sweet idea. Pretty cool that you're featured over on Today's Creative Blog as THE blog to visit today. :)

  3. This one will be easy for me. My sister broke her foot and can't walk so I have been going over once a week to help out with her 3 kids and cleaning. I am headed over tomorrow.

  4. I love this idea! I had my best friend from back home come visit me for a long weekend and whenever I was in the other room or busy doing something else I would come back in the room to her emptying my dishwasher or cleaning the dishes ect. It really shocked me at first how she just so easily jumped in to help WHILE she was a guest! But also didnt surprise me too much because she has such a giving heart in all areas. Its funny how lil things like that really do mean a lot, so simple but so very helpful. What a great idea!
