Wake Up Wednesday

Last week's challenge was to leave comments on blogs you love.  I definitely tried to pop out of my reader more often to leave some comments.  There is so much good stuff to comment on!  It's so fun to be able to have a way to interact and share so many ideas in this age.  And thank you for all the kind comments you leave here.  It's always nice to read a thoughtful comment - especially when you're having a hard day.  Thank you!

This week's challenge is to give someone something that belongs to you.  (That doesn't mean letting someone take your kids for a while :)  I think some of the most precious gifts are ones that have sentimental meaning to the giver.  I'm not sure what I'm going to do for this challenge, but I'm excited to brainstorm about it.  I once heard about a family who did their Christmas exchange that way.  I thought it was such a cool idea.  So, let your wheels start turning.  I'm excited to see what you come up with!

Now let's hear about how last week's challenge went for you.  Did you try and leave comments?  I bet you made a lot of bloggers happy :)  Thanks for stopping by.

  1. I've been trying hard to leave more comments. Obviously as a blogger I love comments, and as a reader I discovered I actually enjoy leaving comments. The feeling of knowing I've maybe brightened someone else's day rocks. Plus I notice I'm paying better attention because I want to leave sincere comments and not just "that looks great" or whatever. :)

  2. This past week I have tried to make an effort to leave a post on every blog that I stop and read. It only takes a few minutes and I know it makes a difference. I also made time to go to the original post on anything I pin in pinterest and leave a little note of appreciation.

  3. I never thought that my comments meant anything to bloggers until I started a blog myself. Comments mean a lot to me so now I try to leave them for others. This was a great challenge!

  4. I left more comments this week and some people actually left some comments on my blog! Funny how that works :o) Hmmm, now to go think of something to give away. . . Too bad you ruled out the kids :o)

  5. You definitely got me thinking about this. I tried to leave comments on friends' blogs - you know, the little family ones that are just there to keep us all updated. I know it makes my day when someone takes the time to comment! It was great to kind of get back in touch with people. Thanks for the challenge!

  6. Thanks for all the great "boy" crafts you have shared. My daughter just her second little boy and she is now a t-shirt making expert. All because of you (you have to understand, she doesn't "craft"). Thanks again.

  7. I left one over at living locurto last week, it was my first time and she ended up sending me a reply. Which was cool. Next weeks is hard, like sharing my Thai leftovers with the Hubbs, sometimes it pains me! Selfish but true. I will try though, promise.

  8. This is one of the few challenges of yours I've actually followed through on (what can I say -- I'm lazy :)) and I left SO MANY comments on my favorite blogs! It felt really good to spread the love.
