How to Make Your Own Business Cards

Business cards have been on my to do list for far too long.  It was time to be a big girl and make some cards for this little blog.  I handmade a few, but ran out of them quickly.  So, I finally took the plunge and got some UPrinting business cards.

I made the cards as "blog cards" rather than business cards.  They have all my blog info, so someone can find me online, but they don't have any personal info on them (like phone numbers, etc.).  That way when someone asks about my blog I can just hand this over and not try and find a pen and some scrap paper and tell them that it's m-o-m-m-a and not m-a-m-a.  You know?  Okay, enough blabbing.

I printed these babies at UPrinting (as I mentioned) and had a great experience with it.  The site is really easy to use.

I also really liked the different shape options.  I went with "leaf" because I thought it looked extra cool.

I wanted to design the cards completely on my own, so I used picmonkey to create them.  Here's a short tutorial video on that, in case you aren't familiar with how to go about that.

After creating the files (front and back of the card) I uploaded it to UPrinting.  You can see a full view of your card before you complete the purchase.  You can also opt to see and approve a proof before they print them.  Then you wait till they show up on your doorstep....and that's a fun, happy day.

I was completely satisfied with the final product.  They were packaged and printed well.  I thought the quality was excellent.

And now I'm ready for someone to ask me about my blog.  Because I'm currently loaded.....with blog cards, that is.

If business cards are on your list as well, you can head to UPrinting to check out your options.

Thanks for stopping by.

Disclosure: I received these business cards to review at no cost from a sponsor, UPrinting.

These are great! I've been wanting some 'mom- cards' since my name and my kids names are unusual. This would work great for that as they look so playful and non business like!
