Soapbox Saturday - Canvas People

Welcome to Soapbox Saturday!  I am really excited to tell you all about a new offer that I think makes a FABULOUS gift for the holidays.  Who wouldn't love a gorgeous photo on canvas?  The Canvas People are offering a FREE canvas to all of you.  (You do pay shipping, but it's still a great deal.)

Remember my giant shelf? Remember how I said I'd keep arranging things until I thought I had it just right? Well, when my canvas came in the mail the other day I knew my shelf was finally complete.

Take a look!  (I'll get you a picture of the full shelf when the sun comes out today.)

I have always wanted to print up some photos on canvas. I love how they look unframed. You don't have to do anything but hang them up - that way they also match any decor. (I can buy one as a present for anyone and not half to worry about whether or not a certain frame would match their decorating style.) I'd love to do a big one of each child and hang then down the hall.

The 8x10 is FREE or you can upgrade to a larger size for $9.99 more.  I recommend the 11x14 (which I got) or larger, since the 8x10 is pretty small.  Even after paying for the upgrade and the shipping, it's still a lot less expensive than anything I've seen.  And, I'm a big fan of being able to order things from my home....in my jammies :)

I was really happy with how the canvas looked.  Keep in mind when ordering that part of your picture will be wrapped around the side (since it's a wrapped canvas).  That means you don't want to use pictures where faces are really close to the edge.

So, go grab your free canvas and cross some Christmas gifts off your list at the same time.  Click HERE to go check it out.  Thank you Canvas People for offering such a great deal!

Have a great weekend and thank you for dropping by!

  2. Did they put a crease in the canvas from the frame making am impression from the back side? It looks like there is an indentation on both the right and left side from the frame. I'd hate to order one and be disappointed when it came that it has a crease.

  5. Thanks!! I just ordered an 11x14. I totally cheated and did the sepia effect myself in Picnik to save 10 bucks. Shhh..don't tell them.

  7. I love photos on canvas! Thanks for the info!

And also, I didn't realize how enormous that shelf really was! Seeing an 11X14 canvas look so small on that shelf really puts it into perspective!
