Sunshine Sunday - family time

My favorite part of pretty much any week is when we get to spend time together as a whole family.  It's great to have my husband's help and everyone just seems happier when we're all together.

We headed off for some fall fun yesterday afternoon.  Now I know we've already addressed this issue, but for those of you who are newer to my blog you must know that my husband and my boys have a perma-scowl.  Yesterday was no different.....

Baden's first pony ride!  He loved it, even though his face doesn't show it.  My husband also had fun, though his face doesn't show it either.

This is what Rex gives me.  (Please ignore the food on his face...oh, and he got his face painted where we were at.)

This is what I get when I ask him to smile.  No joke.

Back to my husband and Baden.  Hmmmmm.....They really are having a good time.  I just won't ever have any proof of that.

Apparently, I'm the only one in the family who smiles.

I sure love these guys.  They're all mine.

Well, most men are like that. I think that the inabillity to smile must be inscribed in the Y chromosome, or something :)

I agree. It is a chromosomal defect, that pesky Y. :)
I have the exact same odds at my place: two boys one dad, lots of goofy faces.
You are adorable in every pic so that offsets it.
Your scowly brood made me smile this morning.
Thanks.

This is just the funniest entry I have read this morning. You know sometimes daughters are no different. For a long time my daughter hated me taking photos of her, she'd look down the moment she saw my camera. These days she's pretty sweet for me, but sometimes she gives me that awful fake smile ... trust me, those are worse ;)

I love this! My husband and both kids (son and daughter) are the same way. My son especially on rides and all, when we took him to disney world you would have thought he hated the whole thing until we got home and he couldn't stop talking about it. Boys are funny.

BTW, I love your super cute hat!

That's so funny. My children inherited a scrunchy face smile that makes their eyes disappear from their father. I love it. Whenever I get a really good smile from them? From my side of the family, of course.

SO funny! My husband's the same way. He's one of the funniest people I know but it's like he's in a permanant 'high school football team yearbook picture' pose... so funny:-)

Oh my. I JUST BOUGHT that hat from target! Except... I stood in the aisle for about 5 minutes going between the black one and the cream one... I ended up with black =). AND I totally went to a farm just like that today, too! Too much of a coincidence NOT to leave a comment! Love the posts, I've been reading for a while! Thanks =)

Nice. Now Jeff can see what everyone else sees. Although the scowl looks pretty cute on the little guys. I love it!
