Feature Friday - Rick Rack Skirt

This week I posted a skirt I embellished using an existing skirt I bought at Wal-mart.  After I posted that I got a comment from Autie at iCandy.  She bought the same skirt and did this to it.  You'll find her tutorial HERE.  Isn't it ridiculously cute?

I loved her version so much I whipped one up for another niece of mine.  It's a teeny tiny 18 month skirt.  Now I just need to come up with a shirt for it.  (I think my rick rack is different and a bit bigger.  I got it on a roll at Hobby Lobby.  If you use the kind I bought it frays a ton when you cut it, so I had to do some zigzag stitching at the ends where the rick rack overlaps.)

I am in love with this little skirt!  It kind of makes me want to have a girl.  Christie from A Lemon Squeezy Home made one as well.  Check it out HERE.  Pretty much any color combination is adorable.  You'll find Autie's tutorial HERE.

Thanks for reading.
