Make Your Own Tattoos and a Silhouette Deal

I received some of Silhouette's Tattoo Paper the other day to try out.  We had some serious fun with it.

The cool thing is that you can make a tattoo from any image you can find.  So, Rex and I got on the computer and googled everything he and Baden thought was cool.

The boys were really excited about their tattoos.

Then we had some cousins drop by.  They were pretty excited about the tattoos too.

Then we had some more cousins drop by and they also had some fun....

....and then some more fun.  We got a bit carried away (and I might have sent a young nephew home with a tattoo on his bum to surprise his mommy at bath time.  Hey, he requested it :)

I think the Tattoo Paper could be really fun for a birthday party.  You could print up a bunch to go with the theme.

They were easy to make.  You print them on the paper and then lay a sticky, clear sheet over the top.  That layer adds an adhesive to the images.  Then you peel off the clear layer and apply the tattoo with water, just like the temporary ones from the store.

The Silhouette store also has a lot of tattoos that can be printed and cut using the Silhouette software, but I think it's fun that you can use the paper even if you don't have a Silhouette.

So, here are the new screaming deals for the Silhouette:
1 Silhouette SD
2 Packages Temporary Tattoo Paper
for $199 (U.S. only)
(That’s 120 bucks in savings!)
Also, (wait for it…) 25% off all other products in the Silhouette shop (excluding gift cards and download codes)! The promo will run June 21-29.

Just go HERE and use the promo code "ROAR" to get the deals.

Thanks for reading.  See you tomorrow.

  2. I'm curious, how well did the tattoo hold up? My son got some tattoos at a birthday party three weeks ago and he is still sporting one, it hasn't cracked or anything. It takes super scrubbing to get them off. But I've heard that some peel off, which i find less appealing. So how do the Silhouette brand tattoo papers hold up?

  4. Here is a stupid question...is a silhouette the same thing as a cricut machine? I have the $$ to buy a new toy and not sure which one is better? Or are they just two completely different things?
