Sunshine Sunday - health

As I mentioned on Thursday, we were under the weather this week.  Being sick is kind of a neat thing.  (Now, I know that sounds crazy and really, I can probably only say this because I'm all better now.)  It makes you appreciate everything in a new way.

I am grateful for my normal health.  I am thankful that I can run and play with my kids and I feel more motivated to do so.  I am grateful for my boys and their resilience.  They bounced back well.
I was thankful for "accidental" naps this week.  Rex doesn't nap anymore, but he crashed on the couch the other day and I loved watching him lay there so peacefully.  (Ha!  However, as I'm typing this he's screaming in the other room.  The peace doesn't last long :)
I am also grateful for family and their help.  Rex got to hang with his cousins while Baden and I were stuck at home sick.
I am also thankful that this week is over.  Ah!

Thanks for your kind words when we were sick.  I really appreciated it.  I hope you're having a great weekend.

Glad to hear you feel better! Good for you. Your kids are supercute :)

Funny how many people use their Sunday blogposts to dwell on gratitude. I started a Sunday Link Up on my blog called 'Attitude of Gratitude' if you're interested. Feel free to check it out! :)

Being sick and being a mom dont mix well! These are the perfect weeks for freezer meals!! It reminded me to get more going and put away just in case! Gald your feeling better, we sure do love your blog!

I was up for a few hours last night w/ food poisoning - NOT FUN! It sure does make you appreciate feeling good when you feel bad.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure my one year old grew up overnight while I was huddled on the toilet. Or at least that's what it seemed like when I came downstairs at 10 AM this morning. Crazy how missing just a few hours w/ him highlights how quickly he's growing up.

It's great to hear you are all feeling better.

Rex is getting so tall! Seeing him stretched out on the lounge reminded me of my 7yr old who is getting so long and lean now.

It is so nice to hear that everyone is well and things are getting bacvk to normal. Since my kiddos were under the weather too this week, they took a few 'accidental' naps and I was surely grateful for that :)
