If you've been reading my blog for a while you know my mom is crazy talented. She can sew and paint with the best of them. I have three sisters and she made most of our prom dresses. She can whip stuff up pretty easily. Well, today she opened an easy shop called Gramma Allie's and this is her first pattern for purchase.
What? That's nice, but you don't sew? No worries. She's making the actual capes to sell as well, right HERE. Sweet, huh? Check out it out. They are reversible.
The boys can choose who they want to be that day - Batman or Superman.
In fact, the capes are guaranteed to improve your superhero abilities :)
He's pretty intimidating...don't you think?
So head on over and visit Gramma Allie. She'll be happy to have you stop over for a visit.
Thanks for stopping by.

The googles... they're adorable! :)
Do these come in adult size? Because if so, I am pretty sure I know what I am getting my husband and a few of his male cousins for Christmas.
Soooo cute! What a talented lady your mom is :)
Wow! Those are incredibly well thought out. Your mom really is talented :)
That is just way too cool for words! I have been wanting to get my little one a cape, because he is 2 and just really getting into the whole superhero thing...and just amazing, because I can not sew to save my life, i've tried!
Your mom sure did an amazing job!
Wow! Very cool. Pair it with a long sleeve black shirt and pants and you've got a pretty cool halloween costume if you ask me!
That is BRILLIANT! LOVE it!
Love the capes! Head to check out your mom's store. My boys would just love these, hmmmmm maybe a great present for them!
oh my....this makes me wish I had little boys! Maybe I could make a princess theme for the girls. =) And I have to say...those kids make me smile every time you put their picture up. Adorable!
SO cute! I wish I could sew! can anyone make them for $15 lol :)
Your little guys are adorable, love the goggles! I LOVE, LOVE,the capes! I have to do this for my grandson. I've never bought a PDF pattern before, could you explain how that works? Your mom is da bomb!
Thank you so much! My kids just decided that they were going to be batman, catwoman and Joker for Halloween! Now I don't have to search for my oldest's costume!
too cute! I just scooted over to Etsy & bought one. It's hard to find nice dress-up clothes for boys - this will be perfect!
Amazing! Going to buy the pattern now! Can't wait to make these for my boys! SO perfect!!
WOW, she is so creative, I think this is absolutely the most perfect cape!! I definately wouldn't mess with Rex in the goggles. okay,.. I might pinch his cheeks though.
Adorable! I like how they come around the front so they aren't just around the neck.
What a talented family! Love it! DO you think she'd be willing to make a girl version...? :) I'd love to get one for my little boy - but I know his sister is going to want one too!
Those are sooo cute! My boys are, unfortunately, too old for them, but they would have loved them when they were little. I hope your mom has a lot of success in her new venture.
While I will never regret having four girls,
I can't even take the "You wanna mess with this" picture... I DIE! :o)
A couple of boys running around in super hero capes would surely complete my world. :o)
OMGoodness! What a great bunch o' boys! Mine are all adults now, but I remember those days soooo well. Thanks for making me smile today. Love the pattern too!
Those capes are awesome! Also, every time I read your blog, I kinda wish I knew you in real life. Your kids look hilarious and like they have so much fun. I wanna send my son over to play at your house!
Fantastic! I love the idea of the fastenings around the back, my 2 year old loves his brothers old batman cape but its so long he gets strangled every time he sits down on it! will definitely buy one x
These are fabulous! Your mom did great!
Oh so cute! Good luck to her and the shop!!!
ha ha ha so perfect for little boys! I love the "do you wanna mess with this" picture.... their faces are priceless lol
