The Fairy Blog Mother Visits Again

A little less than a year ago I had Erika (aka, The Fairy Blogmother) makeover my blog.  She was awesome to work with.  She knows what she's doing, she's kind, and she's got a great eye.  So, when I got an itch to switch things up again I dropped her an email.  She's been really patient, working with me over the last month or two to get things just how I wanted them.

You might notice there are some new things floating around.  If you're reading in a reader you can click over to see the changes.  Here's the run down.  Erika let me design things I wanted to and then put everything together to make it work (which is the part I don't know how to do).

1) New header.  (I wanted to use this picture of my boys and I needed some blank space in the header which I'll explain later.)

2) New navigation bar.  (The tabs under the header match the new look now.)

3) New linked buttons.  See the pinterest, Facebook, and other buttons above my picture in the sidebar?  Now you have easy access to find me in all those places.

4) The button that looks like a little blue button will take you to the page where you can grab a button if you'd like.  I'm kind of excited about these new babies.  You can use "I Roared" if I featured something you did or if you tried a project from here or if you just like the button :)

5) The last change it that I'm now a .net (no more blogspot).  I'm official.  Frankly, it's one less word to say which is helpful since I picked a crazy-long blog name.  It doesn't change anything for you and all the links will still work.  Whew!

Thank you Erika for all your help!  Erika is super patient and talented.  If you're interested in a new look for your blog I highly recommend working with her.  Her rates are extremely reasonable.  I love the header on her craft blog.  Isn't the pom-pom fringe on it so fun?  (And if you're thinking about starting a craft blog and you want a great start she's actually selling her blog.  Click on the picture to read more about that.)

That's all for today.  Thank you so much for reading my blog.

As always, your blog looks great! Unfortunately, I find the navigation bar just a tiny bit hard to read, though (the beautiful blue is a little too light). Perhaps it's just the color on my computer.

I just checked on my laptop and the navigation bar shows up better on that computer. So forget what I said before. Again, your new design looks great! :)

Great look. Although I will say on my screen the nav bar at the top is a smidge hard on the eyes.

I just had Erika remake my blog. She was fabulous to work with! I too highly recommend her.

Read you daily, love your JOYful attitude. Like the new look, but agree that the pale blue nav bar is hard on these old(er) eyes.

I'm working with her right now, after your recommendation to me last year! :) A little bloggy facelift, and a new laptop battery in the mail, and I am trying to get back to blogging regularly! Just in time to blog for the next seven months and then get all overwhelmed when I have a new baby a few weeks before Nicole starts Kindergarten ;)

Like the new look...I'm currently trying your etched super heroes glasses for my son. I don't have a Sillouette, so I'm cutting all the logos by hand on peel and stick drawer lining paper. That takes awhile...especially lamenting with each snip that I don't have a Sillouette. I'll let you know how they turn out
