Soapbox Saturday - Image 3D

Do remember playing with one of these when you were a kid?  I remember loving them.  We were recently given this viewer from Image 3D along with a reel that we got to create.

The boys thought it was pretty cool.  It was on our doorstep when we got home from our trip.  Rex carried it around in his jammies until it was time for bed.

I filled it with pictures of them because I thought they'd get a kick out of seeing themselves in the viewer.  You can even add 3D text to your pictures.  It was easy to build the reel.  I think it would make a really fun, unique gift idea too.  My nephew was excited to see himself in one of the pictures too.

You could create lots of different reels too.  They hold seven pictures (even thought it looks like more).

It makes me smile to see my kids playing with one of the same toys I played with growing up.

Want to make your own reel or check it out?  You can find this web site HERE and they are on Facebook right HERE.

Ahh gotta love the view finder. The 'personal' reel is amazing. I will have to investigate further.

I looked into getting one of these a while ago. The reels I saw were sooooo expensive (like thousands!) so I passed on getting a cool vintage one.
