I pinned this necklace on pinterest quite a while ago. The original is from HERE at Laura Parke. Well, I finally got around to making one myself.
It was easy and fairly fast.....
.....except that those little balls kept rolling around on me while drying.
I ended up using leather string to put them on, with a sliding knot so I can wear it higher...
...or lower. If you aren't sure how to tie a sliding knot you can watch a video on it HERE.
Head over to Laura's for the full tutorial HERE.
Thanks for reading.
- Is anyone else addicted to the dried coconut from Costco? I LOVE it.
- Does anyone have any good Labor Day weekend plans?
- I recently found this daily deal site and I thought THIS necklace was so cute.

Fun! I think this might be the perfect little craft to do with a few girlfriends! Lazy labor day plans over here; the beach, bbqing, and naps :) Just what we need. Happy Friday to you!
LOVE the necklace! you can put the beads on the tip of a pencil to help keep them from rolling while painting! :-)
Great job! it's on my pinned to-do list as well...
Super cute!! I love the shorter one... I'm pinning it on my Pinterest as well!
It's been a little while since I've been to your blog, and this necklace is adorable, but YOUR HAIR!!! It's AMAZING!! :) Happy Friday.
That's super cute. I love how it turned out. I have tons of wooden beads I could use, I would just have to sand them a bit and then paint them. I hadn't seen this halfsie painted one, I love it.
That costco dried coconut reeled me in just last weekend. I bought it on a whim and I'm still not sure how I feel about it...but the flavor is growing on me :) I think it would be good cut into smaller pieces and included in some home made trail mix. Do you do anything besides just snack on it plain? (I do have a large bag to consume so ideas are welcome!)
I love very jane. And I am sure that I have read about Pick your Plum on your blog. That's another fun one:)
LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!
Yours turned out great! (And ps, you are gorgeous!) I haven't tried the dried coconut yet, but I am addicted to the baked snap peas. Give those a try if you haven't already!
Is it big flakes? Is it sweetened? Why do I live 45 minutes away from Costco?:/. I will need to grab some next time I trek down there!
Sorry! I just eat it plain. No ideas here. I was just so surprised that there was so much fiber in it and very little sugar, but it still tasted really sweet. I just can't get enough!

Yeah, it's just pieces, but some are thick and others are thinner. Is is sweetened. However, there's not that much sugar in it, but I think it still tastes really sweet. Sorry you're 45 minutes away! I hope you're not that far from Target, too. That would be torture :)

Target and Costco are in the same place for me:(. Logan has 2 walmart's and no target.....I'm deprived! I get down to Ogden about once a month or so to get my fill;)
