Sunshine Sunday - tubs, my niece, and photo bombers

Well, the highlight of this week has been watching my boys hang out with their cousins.  There's been a real shortage of play dates this summer without them around.  It was a tight squeeze, but I got all four of them in the tub together for a bath last night.

I took a few shots of her kids the other day.  Her little girl, Millee, is so stinkin' cute.  Unfortunately she's not for sale, though I did ask :)

This little guy of hers is so hilarious.  He's been singing the "Save big money at Menard's" jingle all week, which cracks me up.  It's not a store we have in Utah, but I did grow up hearing that commercial in Wisconsin.  It hasn't changed in thirty years.  Ha!

My boys usually get tired of me taking pictures of them, but I found the cure.  When I started taking pictures of someone other than them, suddenly Baden wanted in on it.  Here's my little photo bomber.

We'll be heading back home tomorrow, but it was so nice to be able to squeeze in a visit before Rex starts kindergarten.  It's always nice to get a break from the norm for a little while.

What were you thankful for this week?  Thanks for reading.

  1. Absolutely adorable photos! Bombing rocks.

Grateful for sunshine and healthy kids(finally), weekends and friends.

  2. What was I thankful for this week?
Sometimes it's just about getting through it without bloodshed --- but our patience was rewarded with laughter and bulging baby belly rubs, so it's all good! I'll take the good with the not so and race towards the weekend (again).

  3. That bathtub picture is priceless. Seriously, blow that thing up and put a frame on it! I always forget to take bathtime pics because I usually rush through it and don't want my camera anywhere near the water!

  4. Now that commercial is stuck in my head...but as a kid/teenager, we changed the words to "with my nards" instead of at Menards.

  5. Such cute photos, how fun they got to spend some time together!

Oh, and my kids (2&4) sing that jingle all the time. Now it is stuck in my head :)

  6. Darling kids. So glad you were able to spend some time with your sister and her kids. It looks like everyone had fun!

  7. That tub shot is priceless!!

  8. Yay! I am glad you got to see her ... and thanks for posting the pictures of everyone so we can see that growth on that branch of the tree, too. :o) Love you.

  9. Very cute pictures. I love the Four Men in a Tub. And Menards, lol, when we're mad at them and a project is causing us to shop there more than we want, we also change it to "Spend Big Money at Menards". Very original, I know.

    Ha! Great bombing.

  11. An important part of picking out an affordable soft side is the size. A 2 person small hot tub can be a perfect way to relax with your special someone. These small inflatables are perfect for a couple at home or on the go soft tub hot tub accessories

  12. Chances are when you bought your hot tub, it would have been equipped with a cover. hot tub review
