Recently I was asked to review this book, "A Bag For All Reasons," by Lisa Lam. I normally say no to book reviews, but this one really impressed me. I wanted to share it with you because I thought you'd really like it too.
First off, Lisa Lam is the queen of making bags. You may have seen her blog HERE. This isn't her first rodeo, nor her first book.
The book is packed with clearly written instructions and great photos. I think they are sufficient to make even the beginner sewist comfortable.
I also geniunely liked all the projects in the book. She included a wide variety of bags for all sorts of needs.
This one was my favorite. I also loved that the book was hardcover and spiral bound. It would be so easy to use as you sew.
And the best part? The full patterns are included in the back of the book. I struggle at times with PDF patterns when I try to figure out what to tape where and if I got all the sheets printed out correctly. Having all the patterns ready to use at the end of the book is really awesome.
So, if you're looking for a book to add to your collection I highly recommend this adorable book.
You can purchase it HERE. Thanks for reading.
