Sunshine Sunday - hikes and big words from little mouths

One of our favorites things to do as a family is to take a little hike.  I love seeing my three men in their jogging suits.

The boys love to feed the ducks.

And we like to pack a very random snack for the rest of us.  This time we brought fudge.

The boys have been growing so fast.  Baden has learned the Pledge of Allegiance in preschool and I adore hearing his little 3-year-old voice spout out those big words.

Both boys have also been running around the house saying, "One of you will be named the winner and one of you will be out."  That's because I've been watching Project Runway DVDs while exercising.  Rex calls it "Fabric Runway" and secretly likes to see the runway show at the end.

These little men make life pretty fun.  I've had a lot of reasons to be thankful this week.

Thanks for reading.

  5. Awww, the boys! I'm so excited to have a girl soon (we're being induced Wednesday!) but I always envisioned myself with a houseful of boys, and I'm a teeeeeny bit sad I won't have two boys. I think it's because I love seeing the relationship between my son and husband just bloom.

My almost four year old is speech delayed, and he recently started singing the songs he's learned in preschool. It's so sweet to listen to him singing and using his words. Three is pretty cool.

  8. Little brothers are so sweet. We love taking hikes too. Number 3 is now at an age where I can distract him from wanting to be picked up. Win!!
