It's been a while since I've done a 5 find Friday and I didn't get to the project I intended to show today. We had a bust week. So, here are a few things I saw in blogland this week that I just loved.
1) These gold confetti walls found HERE at A Place For Us. I think it's so pretty and it's not even paint - just a sticker essentially. Anyone could do this and it's so fun. I wasn't familiar with Destiny's blog, but I surfed around a bit just subscribed. She has lots of great, fresh ideas.
2) This isn't a blog, but I love this sign from a really cute etsy shop HERE, which I found via Ko's blog. There's a lot more great stuff in the shop.
3) This isn't one I found this week, but rather a little teaser for you. Think of this bunk bed set up, but a fire station as the house part. It's the plan for Baden's room and add an old slide from our yard to get down from the top bunk. I can't wait! This room and photo come from HERE.
4) I want to make some of these little boots that look like baby Uggs for our baby. The pictures come from HERE. It's not really a full out pattern, but I think I could make them from the pictures. We'll see.
5) Jessica from Running With Scissors showed THIS amazing doll house she made her daughter. (Sidenote: She also just had her baby who has tons of gorgeous hair and is adorable.) It kind of gives me dreams of making a doll house for our little girl on the way, but if the boys get to her she might hate dolls and only like super heroes. That's obviously still to be determined.
It's so fun to see so much talent and so many ideas out there. Thanks for visiting here. You rock.

I have never seen a Five Finds Friday on here before! I love the idea, and your picks are really neat!!
ReplyDeleteLove the finds and thank you thank you thank you for the shout out! You are too kind! Happy Friday momma! PS. Baden's fire station room is going to rock!
ReplyDeleteI just discovered "A Place for Us" today - and also love those confetti walls - and that gorgeous coral dresser she did herself!!! wow!
ReplyDeleteYour boys are so lucky, they get the coolest rooms!
ReplyDeleteAww! Thank you so much for the feature! So happy you liked it and even happier we found each other! xoxo Destiny
ReplyDeleteThose baby Uggs! Oh my goodness, the cuteness!! I am in love with them.
ReplyDeleteI was drawn to those confetti walls this week, too... where did I see them? Apartment Therapy?
ReplyDeleteThat dollhouse is amazing and makes me want to paint the Melissa & Doug one we have even more now that I saw that one.
No matter how much they try and get to her, I bet she still likes dolls. I was the youngest with 3 older brothers, I loved my dolls, but could (and still can) definitely hold my own when it comes to being rough and boyish. Those 'uggs' are adorable, baby uggs always get me, but cost sooo much for a baby shoe!
ReplyDeleteOooh, I really like that print. I may order it for Nicole's room. Slowly putting a combo of free printables and ordered prints into frames from Ikea and making her a gallery... should be done by the time we are hoping to move (next fall or something) ha
ReplyDeletePlease do make the boots and then post a tutorial or sell the pattern or something! I've been searching for something like that and haven't had much luck!
ReplyDeleteI think you and jennifer would make great friends. Doesn't every little girl have great fun moving furniture around in their dollhouses? Baden's room will be so cool he will not want to leave for school.
ReplyDeleteWonderful projects! I always wanted to make such uggs .... for myself)) for home ( we have really cold winters)) So I'm wating for your pattern))) I'm waiting for a boy)) So, do boys wear uggs??
ReplyDeleteAljonushka from faraway Belarus
Have you seen the Simplicity 2278 pattern? It is a baby shoe pattern that also has some baby boots. They are super cute!
ReplyDeletethank you so much for featuring my print!! :)
ReplyDeleteSo, where would I buy the material for that boot? I have 2 boys your exact same age, and I just had my little girl (well I guess she's 7 months now) and I would LOVE to make her some. I've been wanting to get her some but I'm too cheap to spend the $25 plus on them.
ReplyDeletePS Let me tell you, your whole world is going to change when you have a little girl!!! Especially for Daddy. It's quite adorable. I don't even know you personally but I'm super excited for you.
My 4 year old girl loves super heroes AND dolls . . . so I think you should make the doll house. It looks cute!
