Sunshine Sunday - a girl, flannels, and playroom updates

It's been a week full of reasons to be thankful.  I am most thankful to know that everything looks good with the baby and it's kind of an extra bonus that it's a girl :)  I grew up with all girls and no brothers.  I'm excited to have a sidekick to do girly stuff with.  Thanks for your kind comments about our announcement.  I'm glad you all enjoyed Baden's video as much as I did.

I'm almost 19 weeks now, so here's a belly shot.  You can see the progress in the bathroom and my belly in this shot (though it looks as though I'm carrying a second baby in my bum :)

Yesterday we got lots of time to hang out as a family and all my boys happened to wear flannels.  I secretly adore men in flannels.  It's partly from my Wisconsin upbringing and my partly from grandpa.

Lastly, we made some fun playroom updates for the boys that I'm excited to share.  The boys were so thrilled with what we did and I'll give you a peek this week.  Here's one of Rex's latest drawings.  I never get sick of seeing kid drawings.

And that's it.  I hope you had a great week, too.  Thank you so much for reading my blog.

You are looking good for 19 weeks. I've got a bigger tummy and bottom than you and I'm not even pregnant lol so enjoy it. Can't wait to see what you've done with the play room.

You look adorable! I totally looked like I was carrying my baby in my bum. You do not! I am a flannel fan too! I love that they were matchy. So cute.

You look great! Love how you rock that hair. I think men in flannels is awesome. Something so rugged about it.

Congratulations on having a girl! I´m a little jealous. I have 3 boys now and I believe we won´t be having any more kids. I was told that women got more junk in the trunk while pregnant to even out the weight so that we wouldn´t topple over. I got huge with my 3rd http://www.knittingwitholof.com/2012/10/he-is-here-birth-story.html You can see on that post how big I was at the end and my birth story with my 3rd.

The boys all look so cute in their flannel and love your baby bump. I have 2 boys and a girl and it is so much fun having a daughter.

Looking fantastic Cheri! You know you don't have enough back in the trunk to stop you falling over in weeks to come. You need to get some ballast back there, stat! Don't say I didn't warn you... ;)

Love the flannels too! x

Your belly is SO stinkin cute!!! And I have to agree that flannels are just cute. Coop has one right now that I love on him. You have to start framing Rex's art its adorable! I might have to start paying him like Rugby to make me artwork! :)

Congrats on your baby girl! I missed the announcement video from Baden and just went back and watched it. I'm glad I'm not the only one with a disappointed sibling. We just told our boys (6,4) they are going to have a brother or sister and my 6 year old cried. He warmed up to the idea shortly after, but man I was crushed. I'm hoping for a girl this time around, too. I'm praying all this nausea and morning sickness is worth a little bit of pink in my life :)
