Sunshine Sunday - A Mother's Day Gift for You!

Well, it's mother's day today and I must say I am grateful to be a mother.  I have never done anything that has brought me more joy, stretched me further than I thought possible, or made me want to be so much better than I am.

I wanted to get a picture of me and my boys, so I asked my husband to take one of us as we were walking into the store.  Why?  Because this is us.  Rex's hair is messy and he has a crusty look on his face.  He's wearing one of his mustache shirts.  Baden also has a crusty look and I'm hoping that Rex will walk fast enough so that I won't drop Baden before we make it to the cart.  I'm hauling a hefty diaper bag filled with stuff to keep them content (hopefully).  THIS is our life and I wouldn't trade it for ANYTHING.

I hope you are all having a wonderful mother's day.  You deserve it.  I was trying to think of something I could give all of you (without breaking my bank, of course).  I thought of something that I hope you'll all like.  You see, before I was a mommy of two I was a musician.  I was a singer/songwriter and I performed a lot.  I recorded a few albums.  I tried to write uplifting music that was fun and upbeat.

Anyhow, here's your present.  I'll give you each a track of my music for free.  You can pick any of the following songs.  Just head to my music site, pick which tune you want, leave a comment here with which song you want and your e-mail address and I'll e-mail it to you.  (If you're uncomfortable with posting your e-mail address, just send your request to me through e-mail.)  Sound good?  It's always fun to add something new to your ipod.  Here are the choices:

1) Typical Girl (from the album Ready)
2) Bulletproof Dress (from the album Chasing Yesterday)
3) To the Ground (from the album Chasing Yesterday)
4) Connect the Dots (from the album Chasing Yesterday)

Happy Mother's Day!  Now go pick your present out!
