You Roared!

I wanted to clarify a few things before we get started today.

1) The 25% off Silhouette products is still going on and will until the 29th.  You didn't miss it.  Just use "ROAR" as your code to get the discount.

2) There are a few requirements to be accepted as a publisher to Social Spark that I forgot to mention:

“In order to be approved to the Marketplace a blog must be at least 90 days old with a minimum of 20 posts written within the 90 days prior to submission with no more than a 30 day gap in writing during that time. It should be comprised primarily of original content and be written in fluent English. We also look for a clean, easy to navigate layout. If a blog does not initially meet these Terms, they can usually be resubmitted once they have.” -Social Spark Team

3) You don't need a Silhouette to use the Tattoo paper.  You use your printer to print on it and then you put this clear plastic layer (that comes in the pack) over it.  That layer adds the adhesive to the image and makes it stay on.

Okay, that's all.  It's time for another segment of "You Roared."  Seeing your projects is really fun for me.  It's always great to see someone else's take on an idea.  Let's get rolling!

Golde from the Phillipines made the Homemade by Jill Car Caddy.  She sewed the whole thing by hand.  WOW!  Isn't that awesome?

Here's an adorable Upcycled Hat from Martinssmily.

Kristen from Iceland made this one.  I love the color combo.

I had to pick my jaw up from the floor when I saw that Billy made the Super Hero Bed!  Talk about a perfect replicate.  Well done!

Trina made the T-shirt to Pullover for her daughter.  Darling!

This Hello Kitty version is from Gwenny Penny.

Kim at Seven Thirty Three made a Faux Newspaper starring her adorable son.  Pretty sure he likes it :)

Here's a fun girly version of the Momma's Gonna Snap Tee from Shay and Co.

Here's a cute Tohoku Tote from Jen's Stamp World.

Stillgonnashine from the Flickr Pool made this cheery version.

Allison made this pretty one.

This set is from Brandy at the Miller Five.  She used stickers on the rocks.  Pretty clever lady :)

Rebekah from Fashionable Finery made and emailed me the Super Simple Summer Skirt the same day I posted it!  Talk about speedy!

Natacha is totally new to sewing and she whipped out this Pottery Barn knock off pillow.

Asha made the Playroom Apple Tree in her nursery.

From the Flickr pool, Shrooznooz made 25 hats and sent them to her friend who has a creche for poor children in South Africa.  This picture completely made my day.

I also want to occasionally spolight someone who had an uplifting experience from Wake Up Wednesday.  Here is a story from Emily:

"Thank you so much for doing Wake Up Wednesday. I always look forward to learning what our new challenge is. I have been doing them with my son, who is two and trying to show him even at this young age how kindness and concern for others are important. One of the first challenges we did was making something for someone who is out of our comfort zone. I had just met a neighbor and found out that she had been having a really hard time. She had recently lost her mother, whom she lived with and cared for, and was very lonely. I love photography and last year had taken a beautiful photo of hydrangea blooms on a bush in her yard at the edge of the road. My son and I took her that photo with a card. She was so surprised and at a loss for words. It made my week.

Last week, a plant appeared on our porch. The next day, she stopped by with a garden book for me to look at and said that she had divided her asters and wanted me to have one. She didn't know when she dropped off the flower that is was my birthday. I couldn't have asked for a better gift. Thank you for challenging me to reach out. My son and I have a new friend."

That's all for today.  Thank you for being a part of this blog.  You rock.
