Faux-Metal Monogram

Today's tutorial is super-duper simple.  It's nice to have one if those sometimes, if you know what I mean.  Anyhow, you all know monograms are big right now.  I really wanted to add one to my chunky shelf.  Here she is.

I've been eyeing up these giant cardboard letters at JoAnn's for a while.  They're usually $10, but I had my trusty coupon, knocking it down to $6.  It's really big.  I actually purposely put my foot in the picture so you could have a perspective.  Yup, it's big.  (And yeah, my toenails look like Smurfette.  Not my best choice.)

I sprayed it with a few coats of this puppy.

Done!  I'm still arranging and rearranging things on the shelf.  I'll let you know when it's perfect :)  Right now the "H" is by a sweet vintage tennis racket I got at D.I. and a bird from the dollar store.  (My husband says the bird freaks him out, so it may not last.)

Thanks for reading.  Tomorrow I have a fun project that includes a giveaway.  See you then!
