I was contacted by Sodee Naturals a while back and asked to review some of their products. They mentioned having a lotion that helped with eczema, which peeked my interest (since Baden gets little patches of it on his legs).
They carry shampoo and conditioner bars, eczema creams, soaps, body butter, and shaving cream. I was lucky to get to try out all of them. Here's what I picked and what I thought:
1) Love My Hair Shampoo and Conditioner Bars. I absolutely LOVED this shampoo bar. I've used a shampoo bar once before and struggled with it because it was hard to create enough lather to work on my long hair. However, this shampoo bar was amazing. I loved the smell and it was easy to use. It cleaned my hair well and I highly recommend this product. The conditioning bar was a little harder to use. It was tricky to get enough of it on my hair. I did eventually manage to get enough on and I left it on a while like I try to with my normal conditioner. I really liked what both did to my hair, but I probably wouldn't use the conditioner bar on a regular basis because it was time consuming. If you have shorter hair, you might like it more.
2) Eczema Creams. These were great. I got a sample pack of each to try and figure out which would help my son's skin the best. I liked the Original one a lot. These are thick and seem a lot nicer than any store-bought brand.
3) Sweet Pink Grapefruit Shaving Lotion. I liked what the shaving cream did. It smelled so nice and you get a lot of it in the container. It was hard to spread on my legs though because it's really thick. It might be better for men's faces.
4) Sea Salt Soap. This is a great basic, natural soap. It lathers well and doesn't have a powerful scent. I really liked it and I think it's cool that salt is a natural antibacterial substance.

The eczema cream as both my boys have eczema. Thanks for thee giveaway!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely the eczema cream...both my boys get it terrible!
ReplyDeletekimberlytotland@hotmail.com
Both of my children are covered in eczema from food allergies. It makes me so sad in winter time to see a 2 year old and a 4 monthbold trying to claw at their dry itchy skin. I wonder if these cremes might help them.
ReplyDeleteI would like the body butter...I am lazy when it comes to lotion.
ReplyDeletesefarny(at)gmail(dot)com
I would love to try the eczema cream. My oldest son and I have eczema and it is so much worst right now because of the dry weather.
ReplyDeleteI would love to try the eczema cream. I get it all over my hands and it hurts so much.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win.

ReplyDeleteI've never heard of this company, but I'm going to follow the link and learn more. I am very interested in the eczema cream. I have a several patches of it, and it is a constant battle. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI love anything pink grapefruit scented - I'd like to try the body butter.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing and being honest in your review of the products. So many people don't tell the truth and say that things are great when they are not.
ReplyDeleteI'm curious has how you would use a shampoo bar. New concept to me honestly. I'd like to give it a try.
Thanks for the chance.
Jessica
I'd love to try the body butter. Thanks for the contest!
ReplyDeletesewvery(at)gmail(dot)com
I would love to try the eczema cream or the body butter...My legs can be quite scary at time too!
ReplyDeleteThe body butter!! :)
ReplyDeleteBody butter! I'm lazy, too. :)
ReplyDeleteEithe the body butter or the eczema lotion. Winter in Utah is hard and my skin needs some love!
ReplyDeleteThe excema cream. I have actually been meaning to buy it - thanks for reminding me!
ReplyDeleteI think the body butter would be Great! I have very dry skin and use lotion everyday.
ReplyDeleteBlessings
I'd love to try the shampoo and conditioner bars. And the body butter too!!
ReplyDeleteI think the shampoo bar sounds interesting! Never tried one before.
ReplyDeleteThese look great! It's hard to just pick one that I'm interested in. Honestly, every one I read about made me think, "Oooh, I'd like to try that!" But since I HAVE to pick one, I think I'll say either the eczema cream or the body butter (like how I copped out and picked two?:-). My husband gets eczema so bad, on his back, and we found something that works, but it bothers me how full it is of things I can't read. I also get crazy dry knees and feet in the winter, hence the body butter.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
Wow, those are pretty awesome! And they even deliver to the UK! I'm allergic to a synthetic chemical which is in pretty much every cosmetic, so I have to be really careful what I use, and it is really hard to find things without it in. I'd love to try out the shaving cream since that is a product I haven't found that I can use.
ReplyDeleteI would love the sea salt soap! That would look and smell so perfect in my new renovated bathroom :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely giveaway...I would love to try the eczema cream, as my daughter has suffered with it her whole life.
ReplyDeleteThanks for a chance to win.

ReplyDeleteThat body butter sounds awesome.
ReplyDeletebetsy@shefoundstyle.com
I'd definitely want to try the eczema cream, and the shampoo bar!
ReplyDeleteThe body butter sounds like a great treat! I put lotion on everyday when I get out of the shower. Only doing it half the time would be nice!

ReplyDeleteThank you for your reviews and for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to try out the Hair Tamer Shampoo Bar...sounds interesting!
kufishy(at)gmail(dot)com
The shampoo and conditioner bars definitely interest me but the excema creams for sure because my daughter was prone to it when she was younger and so far my 6 month old son seems to be showing signs of much more sensitive skin:/. Also, I'm a sucker for grapefruit anything and if my hubby's face could smell like a grapefruit i'd be oh so happy and so would he;)
ReplyDeleteOooh, as much as I have been wwnting to try a shampoo bar, i'd have to pick the body butter for my big pregnant belly. I seem to have such dry skin when I'm pregnant.
ReplyDeleteWinter time and eczema is not a fun combo. Both of my boys have it, so I'd live to try that eczema cream. Thanks for the opportunity. :)
ReplyDeleteThat Grapefruit Body Butter sounds a-maze-ing!! I have super dry skin all year, but it gets especially worse in the winter. I'm talking head-to-toe lotion after every shower. Thanks for the giveaway!

ReplyDeletealiben7 (at) gmail (dot) com
The body butter sounds awesome!
ReplyDeleteProbably the ezcema cream. I am in desperate need :) Thanks!
ReplyDeletedeborah dot a dot sorensen at gmail
I'd love to try the shampoo bars!
ReplyDeleteThe grapefruit body butter for sure! Thanks for sharing!!! xo
ReplyDeleteWell I love shampoo bars but I think I would have to say the body butter because I am in need for some self pampering :)

ReplyDeleteI would like the grapefruit body butter.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind trying the hair shampoo and conditioner bars.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
I've used a conditioner bar abefore and loved it, I'd love to try this company's version.
ReplyDeleteI have a sister with special needs and she has a really hard time getting the right amount of shampoo in her hair and then getting it rinsed out. She has short, fine hair. Do you think the shampoo bar is easier to "limit" than regular shampoo so she wouldn't risk getting too much in her hair and then struggling to rinse it all out?
ReplyDeleteI would like to try the body butter.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to try the Eczema cream as I have eczema and so does my youngest. :)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to try the Sweet Pink Grapefruit Body Butter! These Northwest winters dry out my skin like crazy!
ReplyDeleteThe sea salt soap sounds awesome! I have also wanted to try a shampoo bar, but have never committed to actually buying it, so that would be fun to try too!
ReplyDeleteThe body butter and the eczema cream sound great! I need something heavy duty for my dry skin.
ReplyDeleteI would love to try either the shampoo and conditioner bars or the sea salt soap. I love anything involving sea salt.
ReplyDeleteThe shampoo bar intrigues me...thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to try the body butter.
ReplyDeleteI have had eczema all my life and have only recently found something to keep it at bay -- a steroid cream that works. But I don't like to have to use steroids to keep the itching at bay, so I'd love to try one of the eczema creams... maybe the lanolin-free? Or the seabuckthorn? Never heard of that before, but I'll try anything! Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI would love to try the body butter. My legs are so dry they look like fish scales, so I am always looking for lotions to help moisten them up, and pretty much everything I have tried from the store doesn't work. I would love to not have to grease up my legs every day. Thanks Cheri.
ReplyDeleteI would love to try body butter!
ReplyDeletesnookums06 (at) gmail (d0t) com
That body butter sounds really nice! Especially now in the winter when things are so dry. I'd love to give it a try! (the shampoo and conditioner bars also interest me, but it's winter and my skin's craving body butter!)

ReplyDelete~Jen
I'm most curious about the shampoo and conditioner bar as this is a new concept to me but I'm most interested in the body butter as I am addicted to lotion and oooh you made it sound so good!
ReplyDeleteLove the shampoo bars!
ReplyDeleteI would love the eczema cream! My two year old has it, and I'm always looking for more natural creams vs all the medicated ones he has, which have such a strong smell. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeletethe body butter because anything that smells like grapefruit has to be yummy!! A suggestion for the boys, tea tree soap! My oldest gets little bumps that look like little pimples (blanking on the name right now, sounds like a harry potter spell) but DR. tried to cut them off once which is what he said works, no way hurt my kidlet. So I researched and bought some paul mitchel and it went away in 3 days! I stock up on the generic bars at Sallys beauty supply and he has no problems! worth a try for under $3.
ReplyDeleteI would love to try the shampoo bar, I've never even heard of that. My runner-up choice would the the body butter, I love the smell of grapefruit...especially in the morning when I need a citrus-y pick-me-up!
ReplyDelete>>mrs.klchambers@gmail.com

ReplyDeleteI'd love to try the body butter! I live in a redonkulously cold climate and having heaters on all the time is causing my skin to dry out. I feel like a walking mummy. Not fun.

ReplyDeleteI would love to try the Eczema cream. I have a 7 month old son who gets patches of it on his arms. I haven't found anything over the counter that I can use on him, so I feel so helpless when I can tell it's bothering him and I can't do anything for him. :(
