Toy Photoshoot - Part Two

Okay, so yesterday we used the toy photos to make labels for toy bins.  Today we're going to do one more thing with them.  I wanted to show you how you could make some personalized art for a playroom or kid's bedroom using his or her favorite toys.

I took some of the pictures and played with them on Picnik.  Here's what I came up with:

Picnik has a new "comic book" effect.  It puts all the dots on it.  Then I added the other stuff on top of that.

I played around for a while with the lego guys, too.  Rex loves anything "man" related, so for this one I added "men, men, men" around the photo.

Need more kid's room art ideas?  You may have missed this rock 'n roll poster post since it was one of my very first posts.  Anyhow, I hope you've got some new ideas to try out.  See you tomorrow!

  3. I love these pictures. What we did once was to take pictures of my son with things A- Z in his room. Then I glued the pictures onto card stock, wrote the name of it on the bottom and the letter of the alphabet on the top. Then I laminated the pages and joined them together with 2 jump rings. My son loved it, and it helped him learn his abcs.

  6. This is perfect. The boys would love this! The Star Com one is awesome. I've been trying to find an excuse to use the comic app in Picnik. It's perfect!
